All nominations must be made via the website www.manchester.ac.uk/volunteeroftheyear.
The deadline for nominations is 10:00 on Monday 3rd March 2025.
Nominees must be a member of the University as of 6th May 2025.
Recipients of individual awards from the 2007 pilot scheme or 2010 - 2024 Awards will not be eligible in the same category unless the volunteering role is substantially different. Groups who have won in the past can be nominated again but the nomination must focus on activity undertaken by the current membership in the past 12 months.
The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
The University of Manchester reserve the right to publish the nominations and associated photographs as part of any publicity.
The University of Manchester reserves the right to refuse any nomination for any reason considered justifiable.
No responsibility is accepted by The University of Manchester in respect of the past or future activity of any individual in receipt of an award.
Awards are non-transferable.
Award prizes should be used by the organisation/project to support the winning volunteering activity or a similar project.
