Student Volunteering Week is an annual event celebrating student volunteering in all its glory! Hosted each year in February, the University's Volunteering and Awards Team and the Students' Union Volunteering & Fundraising Team organise a variety of exciting events for you to get involved in.

Volunteer of the Year Awards 2024

The University of Manchester's Volunteer of the Year Awards are part of the Make a Difference Awards and take place annually. In 2024 they will celebrate the contributions of University students, both individual and groups. Nominations for 2024 are now open, with the Award ceremony taking place in May 2024.

Deadline for the Stellify Award and Manchester Leadership Programme volunteering, 31 May 2024

Deadline for you to log your volunteering hours (on the Volunteer Hub) to enable you to achieve the Stellify Award as well as the Manchester Leadership Programme certificate (if you are participating in that).
