Programmes in Sri Lanka take place all year round.
Peak periods are January, Easter and June to September.
Programmes in Nepal and Morocco take place from June to August.
You can volunteer from a minimum of 2 weeks to a maximum of 6 months in Sri Lanka, and a maximum of 12 weeks in Nepal and Morocco.

The Travelteer team are always a phone call/email/ text away to answer any questions you have!
They will put you in contact with other volunteers at your University so you can fundraise together.
They will ensure you are fully prepared for your trip; helping you book your flights, sort your visa and even telling you what to pack in your bag!
They host regular pre-departure meetings, and fundraising drop-ins to help you out along the way.

Comprehensive in-country support is provided by the Travelteer team, from both English and local coordinators.
In-country programme training is given at the start of the project.

A registration fee of £175 (this is used to cover our UK operation costs and includes a Travelteer programme handbook, T-shirt, wristband, and 24/7 International support).
Living costs: £32 per day which includes accommodation, food, transport, and 24/7 in-country support.
Accommodation is situated in the southwest of Sri Lanka, 100m from the beach in a small town that has everything from beach restaurants to ATMs. Accommodation includes a single bed, mosquito net, fan, and en-suite western bathroom.
Every morning they provide a continental breakfast including; toast, butter, jam, eggs, fruit, tea, and coffee. From Monday to Friday, the in-house chef will cook and provide you lunch which will be delivered to your project, and a delicious meal for your dinner – plus every Friday its BBQ time!
Fundraising for Travelteer Impact! Each volunteer needs to fundraise £75 per week they volunteer, with a maximum of 4 weeks/ £300. 100% of this money goes directly to our projects in the form of equipment and facilities. Any money fundraised over this threshold you can put towards your flights!!!

Students may be eligible to apply for funding through the Trusted Partners Bursary.

3rd stage: Receive approval letter
4th stage: Register and confirm your place
5th Stage: Pay off your living costs in instalments throughout the year or as in one lump sum.
6th stage: Undergo pre-departure calls.
7th stage: See you in Sri Lanka/Nepal/Morocco!
