The Volunteering and Social Justice Fair welcomed around 100 organisations offering volunteering opportunities onto campus. It was a great chance to meet organisations in person to find out more about what they do and how to get involved!
We invited a diverse range of charities, non-for-profit organisations and student-led groups with opportunities related to culture, education, the environment, health, sport and social inclusion. There was something for everyone!
The first half hour (11-11.30am) was designated as ‘Quiet Time’. We know that student fairs can get very busy and loud, and might be overwhelming for some people. The first half hour had reduced noise and capacity to allow you to browse the fair and get information in a calmer environment.
Don't worry if you couldn't make the Volunteering and Social Justice Fair this year as the event programme below give you an idea of what was there. All the organisations that attended also advertise their current opportunities on Volunteer Hub.
