A great way to find volunteering is through Volunteer Hub. All the organisations the University's Volunteering Team work with locally, nationally and internationally, advertise on Volunteer Hub. The Students' Union also advertise its volunteering projects there. There are hundreds of opportunities on Volunteer Hub available.
Please take a look at our short film which gives you a step by step guide on how to register on Volunteer Hub and search for opportunities.
Please note: The University uses Volunteer Hub to track your volunteering hours towards your Stellify Award. If you are undertaking the Manchester Leadership Programme, it also uses Volunteer Hub to track your volunteer hours for this.
If you are volunteering but have not sourced your role via Volunteer Hub, that's fine. All you need to do is register on Volunteer Hub and record your volunteering as 'My independently sourced' hours. This is the only way to ensure this volunteering is counted towards your Stellify Award and/or Manchester Leadership Programme. Please see the short film which provides you with a step by step guide on how to do this. Please note that this film is currently focusing on 'adding your additional volunteering hours'. It is the same, we have just recently updated the phrase to refer to your 'independently sourced' volunteering hours.
