If you are a Relevant Student, you are entitled to apply for a Trusted Partners Bursary as follows:
Students in receipt of relevant financial support:
If you are a Relevant Student and in receipt of the full maintenance loan (e.g. household income less than £35,000) to support your studies and/or a bursary or other financial support from The University, you are eligible to apply for up to a maximum of £1000 for eligible projects. If you are unsure of your financial status please refer to the student support funding pages.
Please note – if you are in receipt of financial support and would like to volunteer with Think Pacific, a separate funding pot is available with increased financial support. Please see the Think Pacific webpage under ‘funding available’.
Students not in receipt of relevant financial support:
If you don’t meet the criteria above, you can apply for the following amounts for eligible projects which are calculated as a proportion of the flight and accommodation costs with one of our Trusted Partners:
If you are not in receipt of relevant financial support but have a personal financial situation that means that you would find it difficult to raise the full remaining funds for the project and would therefore like to apply for an amount greater than that listed above, please let us know in your application form.

How the bursaries will be awarded:
The Trusted Partners Bursary will be awarded on a competitive, first come first served basis, assessed against the strength of the information provided in the application form (see “How to Apply”), until the allocated funding for the Trusted Partners Bursary has been exhausted. There is no guarantee that an application will be successful or that you will receive the full amount requested.
