The Green Wellbeing Project is a volunteering initiative hosted in partnership by the University's Social Prescribing Team and the Volunteering and Awards Team. Starting Wednesday 8 October, well-being focused gardening sessions will be running in the University's tranquil botanical gardens right in Fallowfield. These weekly session will run every Wednesday until Christmas, starting back up again for Semester Two.

The project aims to create a slow, happy and healthy atmosphere to garden together; giving you the chance to take time away from any personal or university related stresses.

Volunteer Centre Manchester provides information, support and training to Manchester residents who want to volunteer. It also supports Manchester based organisations who want to recruit volunteers, need help and advice to develop new roles, introduce/update policies and procedures or have a training need.
