Community Led Initiatives was launched by ex-offenders in 2013 with the mission to transform the lives of others through the power of quality peer mentoring. It supports a wide range of people facing multiple disadvantages like substance misuse, homelessness, mental ill health and offending by building supportive, peer-led recovery communities. You will be required to commit to a minimum of four to six hours a week for a nine months period. You'll need to be a confident, positive, outgoing and reliable individual that is able to use their own initiative to encourage the belief in change. This role will offer you a rewarding and gratifying experience helping others, as well as improving your own personal and professional development.
