Access All Areas Secondary School Projects

Access All Areas is the newest volunteering arm of the Students' Union, bringing together a range of student-led educational volunteer projects in the local community. All of their projects have the same aim - to improve access and widen participation in education. They have both one-off and long-term volunteering opportunities that run throughout the year. they lead workshops in local secondary schools, run educational outreach projects and mentoring schemes in the community. So if you're passionate about access, and looking to volunteer or set up your own project, come and get involved!

LIGHTSS run weekly workshops with schools and community centres to support GCSE students preparing for exams. If you believe you have the skills to help students by delivering these sessions, which cover both course content and revision technique, apply to become a Volunteer Tutor.

Full details of the projects are available on the Access All Areas website.
