Terms and Conditions

  1. All nominations must be made via the website www.manchester.ac.uk/volunteeroftheyear.
  2. The deadline for nominations is 11:59 on Sunday 6th March 2022.
  3. For staff and student categories the nominee must be a member of the University as of 10th May 2022.
  4. Recipients of individual awards from the 2007 pilot scheme or 2010 - 2021 Awards will not be eligible in the same category.
  5. The judges' decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  6. The University of Manchester reserve the right to publish the nominations and associated photographs as part of any publicity.
  7. The University of Manchester reserves the right to refuse any nomination for any reason considered justifiable.
  8. No responsibility is accepted by The University of Manchester in respect of the past or future activity of any individual in receipt of an award.
  9. Awards are non-transferable.
  10. Awards should be used by the organisation to support the winning volunteering activity or a similar project.
