Become a Wellbeing champion

Wellbeing Champions roles usually count towards the "Step Up and Lead" part of the Stellify Award.

What is a student wellbeing champion?

Wellbeing champions take the lead on student wellbeing by actively promoting the Six Ways to Wellbeing in their School.

They organise and run wellbeing events, share information through social media and blog posts, and work together to promote and help with University events.

Why should I get involved?

If you’re passionate about positive wellbeing and want to pass this on to other students, we’d love for you to get involved.

We’ll train and support you to run events linked to the University’s wellbeing campaigns calendar, help you with promotion, and link you up with a network of likeminded people.

Holly is in her third year and became a student wellbeing champion in the first semester of her first year at university.

I found the Student Wellbeing Interns at the Stellify Fair and absolutely loved how inclusive and ranging the Ways to Wellbeing were. The students that get involved in this are kind and passionate people and it's been a great place to connect to likeminded people and make new friends. The training not only provides you with skills to run events to support others' wellbeing, but also the skills to manage your own wellbeing. Now that I'm in my final year, I am always grateful for the timely reminders from the Ways to Wellbeing calendar to stay healthy, happy and hopeful all year round!
